The Invisible Man (2020)

Last Night I watched:

The Invisible Man (2020)

Since the cinemas have been forced to close, Sky are showing it (and other new movies) on Sky Cinema. It’s a good idea but obviously you have to pay. I’m really feeling for cinemas and businesses that have had to close right now ☹️

Here’s what it’s about:

Shortly after Cecelia (Elisabeth Moss) escapes the clutches of her abusive parter, she learns of his alleged suicide.

After a series of strange events she becomes convinced that he’s still alive and has found a way to continue terrorising her.

Is she losing her mind or is there something sinister going on that no one around her can comprehend?

A cross between Sleeping with the Enemy (1991), Hollow Man (2000) and Iron Man (2008).

It held my attention all the way through, builds the tension nicely and and has a few good scares and surprises.

I still like Hollow Man more though...
