The First Ever Drive In Movie Theatre

I saw it on a page on Facebook called Vintage Life. It had the caption:

“June 6 1933 the first ever drive in movie theater opens in New Jersey USA although they were originally called park in theatres.”

As far as I’m aware we don’t have many drive in cinemas here in the UK. That’s probably on account of the weather being so unpredictable. I’d love to go to one though! There’s something really romantic about them. 😍
