Seven Psychopaths (2012)

A film I’ve been meaning to do a post about for a while is:

Seven Psychopaths (2012)

This is such a great movie!

I watched it again yesterday afternoon since I wasn’t doing a lot else.

It stars Colin Farrell (In Bruges), Sam Rockwell (The Green Mile), Christopher Walken (Wedding Crashers) and Woody Harrelson (Zombieland) among others.

If you haven’t seen it, here’s the synopsis according to IMDb:

“A struggling screenwriter inadvertently becomes entangled in the Los Angeles criminal underworld after his oddball friends kidnap a gangster's beloved Shih Tzu.”

Nothing I can say about this film can sell it better than actually watching it. It’s just brilliant!

A friend of mine told me about it a year or so ago and this same friend also told me to watch Green Book (2018) which is one of the best films I’ve seen in a long time. Needless to say I tend to trust his recommendations.

Written and directed by Martin McDonagh who also wrote and directed In Bruges (2008) and Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri (2017), this movie is clever, funny, violent and brilliantly cast!

If you’re looking for something to watch this weekend and haven’t seen it, I highly recommend you give it a watch and report back in the comments.

If you have seen it, let me know your thoughts...

Here’s the trailer.👇
