I somehow missed this sad news yesterday.
In the 90s being a huge Batman fan I only ever saw him as the director of Batman Forever and Batman and Robin. It was only later that I realised he’d directed great films like The Lost Boys, Flatliners, Falling Down, Phone Booth and A Time to Kill (to mention a few).
Another tragic loss to the movie world and to the world itself.
