Today’s notable composer is responsible for providing music for three of my top 10 favourite films of all time, Emmy Award winner Alan Silvestri.
Silvestri’s career in film composing properly kicked off in the early 80s with the success of Romancing the Stone (1984). He was soon in demand and has since gone on to compose music for over 100 movies, making him one of the most respected and sought after composers in the industry today.
Notable film credits include: Back to the Future (1985), Predator (1987), Cast Away (2000), The Bodyguard (1992), Forrest Gump (1994) and Avengers: Assemble (2012).
